Atlético Madrileño slip to draw in last-minute heartache against Sevilla Atlético at the Jesús Navas Stadium. The Atlético Madrid reserve team took the lead with a goal from Iker Luque in the 71st minute, an advantage they held until a set-piece equaliser in the last action of the match (90+7'). A header from Valentino denied Atlético Madrileño two points.

After the match, Fernando Torres assessed the game as a "fairly even contest, where we achieved the most difficult thing, which was taking the lead. Nothing particularly exciting happened; we had periods of dominance, periods where we were comfortable defending without feeling threatened," he said in statements reported by the club's official media.

“After the goal, we were feeling comfortable. We had a couple of counter-attacks to finish the game, and then, in the end, a free kick from the wing... It was the last play of the game, and it was a goal against us that leaves a very bad taste in our mouths and the feeling that we deserved more,” said the Red-and-white gaffer.

Next week Alcalá de Henares will host Hércules: “We move on. Now it’s time to analyse, start the week with the same enthusiasm as always, demand more of ourselves, know that it’s getting harder and harder to win, to get points, to take care of what we’ve done so far, and look for that home victory that will put us back on the winning track.”
