Atletico B season schedule unveiled: “I’m looking forward to adapting ASAP”
Atlético de Madrid B already know the schedule that will guide them through the 2024/25 season, the first ever with Fernando Torres as head coach for the Red-and-whites reserve team
...The calendar for Group 2 of the Primera RFEF category has now been released, the one that Fernando Torres' Atlético de Madrid B will follow throughout the upcoming League season. The draw took place at the Ciudad del Fútbol - Las Rozas and was attended by the new coach, who was one of those who participated in the draw event. Alan Godoy and Alfonso Herrero, authors of the best goal and save of the past season, Raúl Ruiz, presenter of #ElFútbolDePrimera show, and Fernando Bueno Prieto, referee on Primera RFEF, also starred the event, which could be followed live through Primera RFEF social networks.
After the draw, Fernando shared his thoughts about an exciting season: “I am very happy to reach this category that I have seen up close over the years. I followed hard the category when I was with U19’s, watching how the boys from the reserve team worked”.
Regarding this new challenge, Torres highlights the high level of an extremely competitive Primera RFEF category: “the difficulty it has, the great players there are, and the teams that participate.” The red-and-white coach lands on the category ready to compete for the set targets. “As a newcomer, I am looking forward to adapting as soon as possible, learning as much as possible… to compete”.
