Day one for Atlético Madrileño 2025/26. The preseason for the Red-and-whites reserve team, managed by Fernando Torres, kicks off after the players' holiday period following their outstanding last season. The team, which competed in the promotion playoffs to Segunda División, takes their first steps at the Alcalá de Henares headquarters with the first session of the preseason schedule, leading to the season opener on August 29/30 against Juventud Torremolinos at the Alcalá de Henares Sports Centre.

Before this first step in the Primera RFEF season, several preseason friendlies are scheduled, the first of which is on August 1 (10:00 AM peninsular time) against Navalcarnero at the Alcalá de Henares Sports Centre. This friendly match will be the prelude to the training camp planned in Los Ángeles de San Rafael, culminating in the traditional match against Gimnástica Segoviana (Saturday the 8th, 11:00 CET).

Alcalá de Henares will again host the following stage of preseason training. Two significant friendlies await in this phase, both played at home, against CD Mirandés (Thursday the 13th, 19:00 CET) and Zamora (Saturday the 15th, 19:00 CET).

The final phase of preparation will take place in Cádiz, where a second week-long training camp awaits, concluding with a friendly against Extremadura (Saturday the 22nd, 22:00 CET) before returning to Madrid to begin the league season at home against Torremolinos. A high-quality plan designed by the coaching staff, looking to ensure the squad is in peak condition for what promises to be another exciting season for the Red-and-white reserve team.
