Fernando Torres returned to international duty with Spain as the members of Vicente Del Bosque’s squad met in Madrid as the European champions prepare for Wednesday’s friendly in Skopje.

The squad have established their headquarters at the Melia Barajas, a hotel located near to the city’s airport. The players trained on Monday at the Federation’s facilities in Las Rozas. The work-out was the only training session programmed by the Spain manager before flying out to Macedonia on Tuesday.

The European champions will take on their opponents at the renovated National arena Philip II of Macedon at 21:30 hours (CET). The friendly is part of the country's 100 years anniversary of football.

The match in the country’s capital will serve as a warm-up ahead of Spain’s two Group 5 games against Belgium in Coruña on September 5 and against Estonia in Merida on September 9.
