The Spain squad trained at the Green Point Stadium, arena where the Red Fury will face Portugal on Tuesday night for a place in the quarter-finals of the World Cup. The press were only allowed to watch the first 15 minutes of the training session before leaving Vicente Del Bosque and his players to train for the remainder of the work-out behind closed doors.

Raul Albiol remained in the gym after picking up an injury during Sunday’s late training session. But there was some good news for the European Champions as Xabi Alonso, who picked-up an ankle injury in the win against Chile, trained with his teammates after shaking-off the knock.

According to the journalists present during the opening quarter of an hour of Spain’s training, Vicente Del Bosque will start Tuesday’s match with the following players: Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Piqué, Puyol, Capdevila, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa and Fernando Torres.
