Vicente Del Bosque gave out his squad list on Friday for Spain’s upcoming games against the Czech Republic and Lithuania. The defending champions will face the Czech team, who lie second on six points, on Friday March 25 at the Nuevo Carmenes Stadium in Granada (kick-off at 22:00 hours local time). Four days later Spain will face the Lithuanian national team at the Dariaus ir Girneo Stadium in Kaunas.

The return of the striker to the squad for a competitive match comes after Fernando Torres was forced to sit out Spain’s two 2012 European Championships victories against Lithuania and Scotland (kick-off at 20:45 hours).

Spain currently top Group I with three wins in three, with victories against Liechtenstein, Lithuania and Scotland. The table toppers have scored ten goals and conceded just the three.

The Chelsea number ‘9’ will join his teammates at the Las Rozas training complex on Tuesday March 22 as the World Cup winners begin their preparations for the double-header.
