‘El Mundo’ journalist Orfeo Suárez officially presented the book ‘Hablamos de fútbol (‘Let’s talk about football’). The publication, which includes an interview with Fernando Torres, contains 50 interviews with the biggest names in world football.

All the money raised by the book will go towards ‘Schools for Africa’. The project aims to benefit 4 million children by creating conditions that will attract children to school, keep them there and provide them with a safe and protective environment where they can learn, play and become masters of their own lives.

The book’s prologue is written by former President of South Africa and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Nelson Mandela who personally supports the ‘Schools for Africa’ campaign. ‘Let’s talk about football’ contains a mix of interviews and stories from players like Alfredo di Stéfano, Xavi, Raúl, Kaká, Frédéric Kanouté, Vicente del Bosque, Michel Platini, Paolo Maldini and Pelé.

This is not the first time that Fernando Torres has worked with a UNICEF project. The Spaniard has previously appeared in another publication ‘Recetas solidarias’ (‘Solidarity Recipes’); a cookbook with a selection of preferred recipes from famous personalities.
