The prestigious English-speaking editorial group Harper Collins will shortly release an autobiography with Torres’ seal of approval. The number ‘9’ shares some of the special moments from his career in a publication that will be available for the general public exclusively in English.

For the first time, Fernando will tell the story of his arrival in English football in his own words. The publication will also include a wide selection of photographs. The book titled ‘El Niño, My Story’ describes the forward’s first two seasons in England, with flashbacks to earlier moments from his career. The new release will look at Fernando’s arrival at Liverpool from his own perspective, how the striker adapted to life at the historic club- home to local heroes Steven Gerrrad and Jaime Carragher- the camaraderie of the ‘Spanish reds’, his experiences in the Premier League and Champions League, and what it feels like to play in front of the legendary Kop- supporters who took to Fernando as if he was one of their own.

In an honest and revealing book Fernando Torres talks openly about all this, and plenty more. The publication, which offers a personal view on Fernando’s experiences in English football, will be released in the British market in mid-September.
