Atlético de Madrid defeated Getafe in their third victory in a week. Red-and-whites got a home victory after two goals by Griezmann, each one on the first and last stages of the game to secure the all three points. Fernando Torres was back to the starting eleven after his superb performance at Ipurúa, playing 57 minutes before being replaced by sub Jackson Martínez. -Liga BBVA Table-

The match could not have started better for our team. In the 4th minute of play, a corner kick from Carrasco ended with Gabi shooting it from outside the box and Griezmann recovering the ball to cross in front of Guaita. Atlético de Madrid was, from then on, the clear dominating team of the match. Torres was working hard on attack and Carrasco grazed the right post of the visiting goal.

Simeone decided to substitute Correa for Carrasco in the half-time. The Argentinian tried and almost found the goal with his shot halfway into the second half. Our coach soon made the two other changes, Substituting Torres for Jackson and Óliver for Tiago. With the substitutions, the team once again controlled the match and had chances but not overly clear. Guaita saved a shot from Correa and Jackson headed out a cross from Gabi.

And if Griezmann was responsible for opening the scoreboard, the French was the one to close it after a masterful pass from Tiago to Jackson and the service of the Colombian was put it in the net by the French international. Three more points that serve to continue adding wins and without conceding a goal. Galatasaray, Éibar and Getafe, the three matches that ended in 2-0.
