New preseason win from Atlético Madrid in the first fixture in Asia. The clash ended with a draw against Sagan Tosu, but we won due to the efficiency of Red-and-withe players on the penalty shoot-out. Koke scored the goal for Atlético during the first half. Torres was on the starting eleven selected by Simeone for this first fixture of the Asia tour and played 60 minutes with a good performance up front.

Our team proved once again its defensive strength in the first half. Koke put our team ahead with a direct goal from the corner in the first half. In the second half, chances to score on the Japanese goal were following one another, but the second goal did not come. Savic equalized the match with an own goal, that sent the match to penalties. In the shootout, Atlético de Madrid won by 4-1.
