Atlético de Madrid notched another win against Osasuna trough to two goals by Carrasco and one by Filipe Luis. Sirigu saved two penalties in the final minutes, one shot by Carrasco and another by Thomas. Fernando Torres was on the starting eleven again playing an important role up front. Keeper Sirigu made two superb saves to deny a striker form the Madrilenian striker. He was replaced by Tiago 19 minutes before the final whistle. -LaLiga Santander table-

An Atlético de Madrid with some new names on the side from the Leicester City mid-week game resolved efficiently the League contest against Osasuna. And they did well with three brilliant goals. The first one was scored by Carrasco at the half hour mark, similar to the one the Belgian scored against Valencia last season, after two dribbles and sending the ball into the net near to the post. Later Yannick scored again in the first stages of the second half with a header from a cross by Gaitán. Filipe Luis played a scoring-role again as he did in recent performances -three in the last four League games-. The Brazilian left back closed the match with a right footer.

It could have been more goals because Torres also had two chances, both saved by Sirigu after an amazing performance, as well as the goalkeeper did minutes after to Correa and Thomas. Red-and-whites had time to see Cerci’s League debut and Tiago's return after his injury, replacing Torres. Children’s Day was a party for the youngest and for an Atlético de Madrid that has another exciting match upcoming Tuesday in the second leg of the Champions quarter-finals against English opposition Leicester City. There were even two penalties in the final minutes, both saved by Sirigu, one shot form the kick-spot by Carrasco and other by Thomas.
