Four goals by Antoine Griezmann gave Atlético de Madrid a comfortable win against Leganés, a game played in a rainy night at Wand Metropolitano Stadium. Two goals in each half were enough for beating the Pepineros and get all three points heading to a crucial game on Sunday against League Leaders, away in Barcelona. The opener by Antoine Griezmann came in the 26th minute and just 10 minutes earlier, he sent a free kick to the crossbar. In the 35th minute, he had another chance to score from a free kick and this time it happened and the crowd in the Wanda Metropolitano went wild.

In the second half, the home side kept dominating and Griezmann scored two more goals to make the score 4-0. The hat-trick hero from Sunday did it again today and gave Atlético a crucial win to keep us on Barcelona's tail.

Vitolo, Fernando Torres and Kevin Gameiro came on in the second half and helped our team continue creating opportunities. However, Leganés defended well and the match ended 4-0.
