Fernando Torres shared with Simeone the official press conference of Atlético prior to this Tuesday’s game against Astana in Kazakhstan. Atlético’s striker spoke about this away match on the 4th round of the Champions League: “Every match is different, we play at their stadium and they will surely feel stronger. Nobody should think that because of the result at the Calderón we're going to face an easy match.”

Torres is a just a goal away from scoring 100 as an Atlético. “The 100th goal will come. It’s another reward that I get to live in this return.”

“Hopefully my 100th goal will come in Champions League because it would be also my first striker for Atlético in this competition. It’s a dream to be among the best strikers of Atlético. After that I won’t stop”, said Torres.

The player from Fuenlabrada spoke of the team’s trajectory this season. “I think that defensively, the team is having a great season. It is growing and improving on a good defence. You always have to think of more.”
