The Calderón will have the final say for this knockout round of the King’s Cup quarter-final next week. There were no goals, even with the scoring chances of the second half, in which Jackson and Correa were closer to scoring. The game between Celta and Atlético de Madrid was from one power to another from the start. Fernando Torres was out of the squad for the trip to Vigo as the striker is recovering from an ankle trauma.

The beginning of the second half was clearly red and white and first Savic headed wide and then Jackson tried and the goalkeeper saved his team by deflecting the left foot shot from the Colombian to the corner. Celta woke up with a shot from Aspas that Moyá saved. But Simeone decided to change the gear of the game and give it freshness in attack with Correa and Vietto. And it was Correa who had two consecutive chances to score. First, with a high header and then a cross that crashed into the crossbar.
