Superb brace by Fernando Torres in rollercoaster win over Shimizu S-Pulse (4-2)

Spectacular J1-League win for Sagan Tosu on Sunday evening. Fernando Torres lead the japanese side to victory with a stunning brace to Shimizu S-Pulse as the Spaniard made the 2-1 and 3-1 with two headers between minutes 16 and 20 of the first half. It was a really intense contest as before the first 30 minutes already five goals had been scored at Ekimae Real State Stadium, four of it through set pieces, a rollercoaster game but always Sagan Tosu got the lead on both the pitch and the scoreboard.

Harawaka (08’), Torres (16’, 20’) and Hideto Takahashi (65’) scored for the home squad, meanwhile foreigners Douglas (14’) and Renato Augusto (26’) where on the scoresheet for the visitors.

Fernando Torres was on Kim Myung-Whi strating line-up and played 67 minutes of the contest leading the attacking line before being replaced by Toyoda. The Spaniard displayed a brilliant performace up front in a crucial fixture for Sagan Tosu, bagging the all three points needed in their misión of getting out from relegation zone of the table.
