Hard-fought game at San Mamés for Atlético. Koke broke the deadlock early in the first half as Lekue tied before the break. In the second half De Marcos unbalanced with a header but a brilliant goal from Griezmann after a Superb assist by Fernando Torres drew the match against Athletic. -Liga Santander table-

The match began strong at San Mamés, thanks to Atlético’s first goal on three minutes. Athletic was surprised but tried to recover as time went by. Raúl García made trouble for Moyá in the 18th and Carrasco almost scored the 0-2 but his shot was cleared at the half hour point. And, in 42’, the tie came with a play from Lekue.

After the break, De Marcos put Athletic ahead after Raúl García's cross. Simeone decided to put Fernando Torres, Gaitán and Correa into the game, almost at the same time, to turn the match around. And the truth is that Atlético’s presence was noted in the Basque area until Griezmann's brilliant goal tied the game. A result that did not change despite the attempts, especially ours, which surrounded Athletic’s goal until the end without succeeding in scoring the third goal.
