Once concluded the match against Barcelona, Fernando Torres appeared happy not only for his personal performance, but also for the good image that the team offered: “We know that nobody had won here, we have been the first team this year, it’s the leader... it was everything against us and at the end everything has come out well."

“We needed this victory. Now we should keep the quietness, but there is no doubt that we beat a rival that we usually play well against them. I hope next year happens the same story again", pointed out the forward. About the keys of the victory, the '9' indicated that: “we all were inside the match and we didn't allow Barcelona to play their way. We were very close and we show a very good attitude”.

As for their performance in the blue-maroon feud, Torres simply remembered that Camp Nou is "a special stadium, where I started, where I have always scored goals and I hope this run continues for a long time."
