Atlético de Madrid beat Las Palmas after a brilliant start with three goals in 18 minutes by Gameiro (2) and Saúl. Thomas and Torres completed the victory in the second half. The Red-and-white came into the game on 58’ replacing Gameiro to score his 6th strike of the season. -LaLiga Santander Table-

Atlético de Madrid wanted to solve the game against Las Palmas quickly and it all was decided in 18 minutes. When the team from the Canaries wanted to realize what was happening, Gameiro had already scored the first goal. And, knocked out by this blow, they received another two heavy blows in a minute, with the goals by Saúl and Gameiro, which silenced the Grand Canary stadium. Until the end of the first half, Atlético had absolute control.

The second half began like the first, with a finish by Gameiro after a pass from Griezmann's that crashed on the post. Diego Pablo Simeone started substituting players with Torres coming in in place of Gameiro, then he had to substitute Giménez with Thomas due to an injury, and later, Correa for Griezmann. The fourth goal was created between Thomas and Correa, scored by the Ghanaian. The last goal was scored by Fernando Torres after a good play initiated by Thomas with a brilliant pass to Filipe Luis and assistance from the left by Brazilian. Great performace of Atlético to win all three more against Las Palmas.
