Fernando Torres played his first minutes of the preseason in a match against Dinamo of Dresde that ended with a 0 tie. The forward had thirty minutes to get back the pace of the play in order to reach an optimum physical shape.

The red and white team controlled the game during most part of the match, although they had difficulties to get to the rival’s goalkeeper, especially at the first half in which just in two occasions, one by Braulio and other by Peter Luccin worried the rival’s goalkeeper. After the break we were able to see a stronger Atletico but with the same luck, and even the referee disallowed a goal by Kezman calling offside position.

At 58’ Javier Aguirre entered Fernando Torres in which was his return to the field after the vacations. The forward enjoyed chances of goal at his premiere, although he didn’t achieve to break the tie. This result close the days of the red and white team in Germany and we will have to wait to the programme matches in China to keep watching in action the red and white ‘9’ .
