Fernando Torres joined up with the Spain squad for his country’s final two Group 5 games. Spain, who qualified for the World Cup finals with a win over Estonia in September, face Armenia in Yerevan on Saturday October 10, before their last qualifier away to Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica on October 14.

It was a festive occasion at Las Rozas as the Spanish Football Federation kicked-off their centenary celebrations with a family photo. All the players who have at one time won a cap for Spain received a call to attend the shoot. More than 400 footballers from several generations were present for the photo, with a further 200 guests attending an organised lunch.

The centenary celebrations will continue well into November as Spain look to play a friendly (against a country yet to be confirmed) in the Spanish capital in mid-November.

Vicente Del Bosque’s squad will train at the national team’s headquarters in Las Rozas before departing for Armenia on Thursday. Following the Group 5 clash in Yerevan, the players will travel to Bosnia for their final World Cup qualifier, before flying back to Spain the next day.
