Spain bid farewell to Potchefstroom after setting up base camp in the university town on June 11. Almost a month later, Vicente Del Bosque and his group of 23 players will spend their last night (Friday) in 'Potch' before heading to Johannesburg for Sunday's World Cup final.

During Friday morning the Spain squad studied their next opponents in a video session before heading to the gym where the players worked out and spent some time with the masseurs and physios. The footballers then trained for a final time at the Northwest University on Friday evening, in a session played out behind closed doors.

The team will travel on Saturday morning before the next training session, which is planned for the World Cup final venue, the Soccer City on Saturday afternoon, barely 24 hours before they face the Dutch.
