The Liverpool number ‘9’ met up with the Spain squad at Las Rozas ahead of his country’s two away fixtures versus Estonia on Saturday 11 and Belgium on Wednesday 15.

The forward joined his team-mates following an impressive weekend performance with his club in the Premier League. Torres scored his second brace in successive games as Liverpool came back from behind to beat Manchester City.

The Spain squad enjoyed their first training session soon after their arrival at the Spanish national team’s headquarters. The hour-long session was lead by manager Vicente Del Bosque as they prepare for their first clash away to Estonia.

The players will remain at the Las Rozas complex until Thursday, when they will travel to Estonia’s capital, Tallin. Spain arrive for the two World Cup qualifiers on the back of victories over Armenia and Bosnia, and two positive results on the road in Spain’s next two games would put Del Bosque’s side in a commanding position in Group 5.
