Fernando Torres continues his fight back to full fitness during the Spain squad’s second day of training in Schruns. The striker spent the morning working with the national side’s physio at the team’s hotel, before training alongside his teammates for the afternoon session at the training ground.

The Liverpool and Spain number ‘9’ started the day with his personalized training plan at the Löwen Hotel. Torres worked with Miguel Gutierrez, the squad’s physiotherapist.

The rest of the players were put through their paces by Vicente Del Bosque as Spain prepare for their friendly fixture against South Korea on Thursday. After a gradual warm-up, the ball was at the centre of the morning training session with the players put through a series of ball control exercises and set-pieces.

The afternoon session got underway with all 23 squad members with Fernando Torres in full action. Once again the players came into contact with the ball for most part of the work-out before half of the squad took part in a practice match, whilst the other half took part in a shooting practice session.

The team will rest on Wednesday morning before training in the afternoon ahead of Thursday’s meeting with South Korea in Innsbruck.
