The stands at Murcia’s Nueva Condomina Stadium were full for the visit of Spain on Monday. But not for the match against Poland which kicks-off on Tuesday evening, but instead for a training session with all 23 of Spain’s squad members.

Just over 10.000 supporters turned up to watch Vicente Del Bosque’s put his players through their paces during a 50 minute session. Monday’s work-out session focussed on attacking play, before the squad was split into two teams for a match played in half the pitch. Casillas, Arbeloa, Puyol, Pique, Capdevila, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Silva, Xavi, Iniesta and Villa all lined-up against a side which consisted of Reina in goal, plus Sergio Ramos, Albiol, Marchena, Navas, Javi Martínez, Cesc, Mata, Pedro and Fernando Torres

The Liverpool and Spain number ‘9’ trained at the same tempo as his teammates and it’s likely that the forward could face Poland in Tuesday’s international fixture.
