Fernando Torres and the rest of the Spain squad arrived in Brussels on Monday as the team prepare for the 2010 World Cup qualifier versus the Belgians. The squad flew in from Tallin, where they had previously beaten fellow Group 5 rivals Estonia 3-0 on Saturday.

The players received a warm welcome on their arrival at the airport from fans who had gathered to meet the European Champions. Striker Fernando Torres was the player who most attention received from the supporters present, and the Spaniard did not disappoint, posing for photographs and signing autographs.

Following the team’s arrival at the hotel, the players ate lunch before enjoying a brief rest. Del Bosque’s side then made the short journey to the training facilities adjacent to the King Balduino Stadium. The full squad were put through their paces in a light training session before returning to the team hotel.
