A valuable point has been grabbed from Atlético de Madrid B trip to Murcia. Fernando Torres’ side managed to equalise in injury time, as the local side took the lead at the Enrique Roca stadium in the 76th minute through Cadorini. The Red-and-white squad never gave up and fought bravely for the equaliser, as Niño got reward for their efforts in stoppage time. The 1-1 draw at one of the most tough pitches in the category extends the Red-and-whites unbeaten streak up to nine games.

Fernando Torres highlighted the performance of the lads in a strong demanding match: “I am very happy with the team, they played a fantastic game. We managed to control it with the ball, overcoming their pressure as expected and then running into the space. Maybe we created fewer goal chances than we wanted, but it was a first half of total control for us. The second was a little more open, but when we got the ball we were confident, with the feeling that we had everything under control despite the goal conceded, which comes from many situations that could happen.”

The gaffer made a very positive assessment again of the team's response to the adversity of conceding a goal in the final stretch, away in a big stadium: “The team's reaction was fantastic again, fighting to win the game playing our way. Without despairing, without throwing the ball nonsense. They showed a strong personality and we are very happy with the lads. We wanted to grab the three points obviously, but coming to Murcia and taking a point helps us to continue on our path,” he said.

“Nine games unbeaten in this category is something very positive and ithas to be a very solid base to achieve our objectives, which are none other than winning the next game. Now it's time for having a good rest, to recover players, and despite the problems we are having with injuries and call-ups from the National Team that make us change many players, those who come in are showing that they are ready to get the most from this chance and want to keep their place. They make it difficult for us and that is all positive,” concludes Torres, who turns the focus to the next Primera RFEF match against Mérida.
