Almost 56 minutes in Serie A has been enough for watch Fernando Torres celebrating his first goal for AC Milan. The Spaniard scored the first for Rossoneri when Empoli was 2-0 up on Carlo Castellani's scoreboard. But it was not only about a goal. Torres led the side with hard work and good attacking football to a comeback that means a valuable point for the red-and-black team: “I am happy for the goal, but I would gladly exchange it for 3 points. The important thing for a forward is that the side creates chances to score goals”.

“We come away from Empoli disappointed, but we had a good reaction. I am trying to adapt to the needs of the team. The opposition were very close and I tried to get the ball in between the lines to help the team”, he added.

“I am better physically, not yet 100%, but I am available to play. With great players like those that Milan has it’s easy to understand each other. I am now understanding how the team plays, what the opponents are like and Serie A, which is a different league compared to the Liga or the Premier League. I am happy and I am gaining in confidence. However one can always do better than this.”
