Big away comeback at Santo Domingo pitch. The Alcorcón stadium hosted Atlético de Madrid B's first victory of the season, as Fernando Torres' side overcame a 2-0 lead in a superb second half thanks to goals from Ale García (59') and Boñar (76' and 83'). The red-and-white reserve team's tally has risen up to four points after four games played.

After the game, Fernando Torres expressed his satisfaction with the performance from the team: "we are very happy for the boys, who have made before a great effort without obtaining the result we wanted converted in points. Today it’s been a very intense game, where things became very difficult and they showed tremendous character. Uncharacteristic of such young players, it makes us very happy. It is something to be proud of the players, who are the main responsible."

“After winning it is always easier to convince the players, easier to build up, but the important thing for us is the process. Believing in the process, so it will take time. Believing in a different way of playing football, which takes time, adjustments, against teams that know how to dominate games because of the experience they have,” added Fernando.

Regarding the opposition, who managed to get a wide advantage of two goals in the first half, the coach appreciated that “Alcorcón is a very young team too, which has allowed us a little more than we would like to.”

“We have to keep on learning. The result does not have to be something we focus on, although it is very important to get the three points, but to keep believing in what we do,” said the coach after the contest at Santo Domingo.
